I just hang up the second I realise that its a courtesy call. I also dont answer the phone often, that stops it if no one picks up for a few days.

The last marketer that came to my house was selling home security systems. I was a little upset because she woke me up from my sleep. She just didnt want to except NO for an answer. She was so presistant. Finally I said "Ok you know what, why don't you come in and lets take a bath together and talk about it". It was so funny. She told me to have a nice day and hasn't been back since! Give this one a shot when the next person knocks on your door trying to sell you something.

There usally from a call center in india, I usally just tell them to fck off.. I had a women call me and ask if I wanted a new phone for free, so I said yes just send me the fone and thats all, She starts going on about I have to take a contract out, So I say to her, nope, you seid I could have the fone, and now you say I have to take a stupid fucking contract! just send me the free fone and no contract.. She wouldnt do it..lol.. Was on the fone to her for about 30mins stoned out my face, laughing away at her... lol..

Do a google search for the National No Call List and that will put your number on the Fed. list for this type of garbage. Also, there are state lists that you can be put on also. I did both about 2 years ago and rarely receive any type of calls of this nature. If they do call afterwords, first ask for the company name then inform them that your are on this list and if they call back again you'll be sueing for harassment. Works EVERY time!
