metallica did have 4 good cds, and for the 5th they were at their peak. yes it is a good listen, but they jesus christ they sued napster. i just can not support them. also they did sell out and their music was really bad when cliff died they got with bob rock. hopefully their new album will be good with the new producer and rob trujilio. rob is an awesome funk bassist. check out "Infectious Grooves" if you wanna see his one of his old bands.

yeah... with the way st. anger turned out, i really don't see them making anything half way decent. they're past their prime, their run is over and they just dont' want to let go.. so they made st. anger, which was by far less than crappy..

certain times when he sings it is kinda nasally and irritating...its nearly 5 am here, so i'm not gonna actually use my brain and think of what song, and what parts irritate you...but yeah...i agree sometimes it is...

did you see the dvd rehersal thing thatcame with the cd? it is on youtube. It sounds way better than the album. Anything they play live is better than the studio produced album if it was produced by bob rock. bob rock produced black album, load, reload, and st anger. those all have very gay production and the live versions sound better.

no you've got it all wrong...i dont look at them based on that...for years i didnt even know what any of them looked like...i was just making a comment on the rob or w/e guy...i haven't truly paid any attention to who alls been in the band when it didnt suck, and who has since it DOES suck...to know if he's good or w/e...

i listen to the music first...decide if i like it...then look to see what they look like...like, a few years ago i liked a "band" that i thought sounded good...(i was young...dont make funna me) and then saw a pic and was like oh...my...god...i cant ever let anyone know i like them or they'll laugh me outta town...and i REFUSE to say what crappy band it was i might let ya know if you guess but its just toooooo embarrassing
