This is why online gaming sucks ass

    I thought this was interesting.

One of the online games that I play has long been victimized by this group of hackers that gets together at a website called hugepackage.net

Hugepackage is a self-proclaimed cheater community. They get their jollies by ruining everyone else's online gaming experience.

But when you go to their website the first thing you will find is that they have their own rules and guidelines. Apparently, they don't think it's acceptable that other people should fuck around on their website the way they fuck around on everyone else's. I thought numbers 3, 4, and 7 were especially hypocritical.

Fuck you, cheaters. How can you have the nerve to ask me to respect you, when you don't have any respect for anyone?

    Forum Rules and Guidelines
Users of the forum are asked to read and understand the following rules and guidelines, these are intended to outline what constitutes unacceptable conduct on Hugepackage.NET.

    1. No 'spam' - What constitutes 'spam' includes the posting of unsolicited advertisements for other websites, products or services without permission, flooding the forum with identical topics or posts or posting large numbers of 'trash' posts. Members may include a link to their own web site in their signature or use the "your website URL" profile field, however registering solely to advertise such a link is disallowed.

    2. No plagiarism - Do not copy other people's work, either from this site or from another site, without properly acknowledging the original source or author; passing off other people's work as your own is plagiarism, so don't do it.

    3. No profile abuse - Using your profile to post offensive or unsuitable material, or using it to harass or offend another user is unacceptable. The moderators reserve the right to remove your signature if they find it overly long, offensive or unsuitable.

    4. No multiple identities - No registering multiple usernames and engaging in 'multiple personality' activities; i.e. pretending to be several different people. Anyone caught doing this will have all related usernames disabled and their posting privileges removed. Members who live in the same household and share the same IP address are free to register an account each.

    5. No non-English languages - As this is an English speaking forum, we ask that all members please speak in English when posting, posts that are in a foreign language cannot be understood by the vast majority of visitors and make the job of the moderators a lot more difficult.

    6. No abuse of the Gallery service - As part of Hugepackage.NET we also provide members with a free fully functional gallery which they can upload images whenever they wish. The above rules and guidelines apply to the gallery also, anything which is unacceptable on the main forum is also unacceptable in the gallery.

    7. Please respect the moderators decisions - Our moderators put in a tremendous amount of work and use up their own free time to keep the forum a safe, friendly place to visit. As such, please respect the decisions of the moderators, and take note if you are asked not to do something. Topics started solely to complain about a moderator's actions will be removed, if you have a question relating to action taken by a moderator please contact either the moderator in question or an administrator. Likewise, losing your temper and being offensive towards members of staff or VIP is a sure-fire way to get yourself banned. The moderators have a lot to do, please co-operate with them as best you can.

    8. Hugepackage.NET reserves the right to change or add to these rules at any time, and in any situation the decision of an Administrator is final.

lol, well of course it's that way, i mean you couldn't honestly think that they're going to put up wtih any shit on THEIR turf... meh if i was a couple of years younger, i'd probably go there and break every single rule to such an extreme i'd have everyone hating me... and when they banned me, or my ip i'd just get around it (i've done it hundreds of times before) and do it all over again... but meh, just seems so petty to me now.. if i knew how, i'd hack their site and just put up the picture from tubgirl.com (don't go to it if you value your eyes... lmao) on the front page...

It may seem petty to you, but when you consider how much money people spend to play these games, I think it should be a felony to hack them.

no i know that's fucked up, i'm saying going there and breaking the rules over and over just to annoy them is petty lol... i know how bad it sucks to have someone fuck up a game... in FFXI (mmorpg) there were gil sellers (gil is the currency used int he game 'case you didn't know) they monopolize everything in the game that makes any decent ammount of money, and i mean EVERYTHING, if there's one monster that has a drop worth alot of money, you can bet your ass there's atleast 20 gil sellers standing around waiting to claim it... they're not exactly hacking the game, but they are destroying the experience for everyone.. you either pay 20-30-40 bucks for 1 million gil (which doesn't go far let me tell you... 1-3 decent peices of armor, keeping in mind you are constantly upgrading your gear as you level) or you settle with the shitty gear, the stuff you only find noobs wearing or something like that...

btw, you obviously play games online (unless you just happened to stumble upon this site or something lol) so what games you play online? btw, online console gaming is a lot better then games that offer pc versions.. with consoles you can't hack, all you can do is glitch, but with a pc, if you konw what you're doing you can build your own hack to do anything you wish, you just have to know how to make it work.. or you can just use the hack someone else made... pc games are generally way to easy to cheat on.

Black Hawk Down - hackers come in with the ability to fly and have automatic rocket launchers with unlimited ammo. They literally end the game because no one can live longer than 10 seconds after respawning.

Runescape - I stopped playing after I reached level 108 and someone hacked into my account and stole everything I had earned.

I wanted to try World Of Warcraft, but I don't think I will. Why should I waste the money to play another game that has probably already been invaded by hackers?

I use to play runescape, 101 combat with 1545 total lvl.

Just quit and gave away ahrims, and full guthans and full dragon to my friend. gave a fury and whip to another.

i wanted to try black hawk down... it was awhile ago i think when i was reading about it, i guess it's for the best i never ended up getting it lol..

as for the bolded statement... really there is no game out there that is safe from hackers/glitchers.. no matter where you turn there's a glitcher or a hacker.. every single online game.. sucky reality, but true none the less.. mostly i credit it to those people who just have to be the absolute best they can be just so they're a step higher then everyone else... even if it means cheating to get up that extra step... i don't like cheating in games, i don't even like reading strategy guides on puzzle type games... i mean what's the point in even playing a game if you're going to cheat your whole way through it, or gonna have some guide to tell you exactly what to do...

    That's how I feel.

The rules are designed to make the game fun. A game without rules is no longer a game. It's just stupid.
