quick question, if you stopped by the store on your way to school thne why did you have to ride the bus home? howd you get to the head shop?

i take the bus to school, and the head shop is RIGHT across the street from my school (what a good spot for it ). i went to the head shop before i went to school, and after i was done school in the afternoon i had to rush and try to get on the bus because they are usually full. well i didnt make it on so my dad picked me up....

sorry to rain on your parade but personally i dont like soft glass bongs at all. an ex girlfriend of mine had two of them and i just dont like the way they hit. i perfer some pyrex or something better like that Borosilicate glass. i think the idea of soft glass (its basically recycled glass melted down then blown into something new) but a few things i dont like is one, those defualt martini bowls you get. if i were you buy a new bowl, spice it up. also two, i perfer to see through my piece to an extent and you may be able to if you hold that one up to the light but still if i cant see the stem and water line it bugs me ha. also for some reason everytime i hit those type of bongs it seems on that shape that the smoke never clears. anyways i know all i had to say was negative but haha atleast i was honest. for 80 bucks i would have gotten a nice clear worked out pyrex piece. just me though...

sorry to hear wadejason. i tried it out today, and it hits like a pro. very smooth (even for my sore throat)... i didnt have any herb so i spent an hour boiling and colecting resin out of my pipe and chillum to get a bit high. i ended up with a decent sized ball, and it got me high as fuck.

ahh see i tried that boil thing but my coffee filter kept falling through the hole in the can and like the bits of resin were more like ground into the filter and i could never get all the peices outtve the water i dunno it was weird , am i doin somethin wrong?

first, it helps if you take a coffee can AND the lid, cut out the indented center of the lid, then put the filter on as usual, put about a 1/4-1/2 inch lip of coffee filter all around the outside edge of the can, and put the lid on top, holds the filter in place... while the water is draining, keep stirring up the water, so the resin stays int he water til just damn near the end, if done right, it should mostly all collect in the center, wring that shit out really good, squeeze the hell out of it, and you'll wind up with a big glob (rarely does it ever come out being a ball) of resin, with a few scattered peices here and there on the filter... put the glob aside and set the filter out flat to dry a bit (it dries VERY quickly) then you should just have to kinda lightly scrape your hand over it and the rest of the peices will fall off (make sure you have something to catch them like a plate or w/e) if the resin is sticking and smearing all over the filter, no matter how lightly and delicately you wokr with it (obviously the more force, the more it's goign to smear into the filter) then you have more 'pure' resin and this entire method just wont' really work for you.. in my time i've came across two diffrent types of resin, one is more solid and easy to work with (still stick as hell and will get all over the place) and there's the liquid shit, that has no body to it... the stuff you just need to use like a roling paper like your wiping an ass or something lol.. it's gross but i guess you could think of it as normal shit (and yes i mean shit, human waste) and diahreah..

^ same here lol. i pretty much ended up using a wire to scrape the inside of my pipe because boiling only made the resin easier to scrape off, but not much actually came out in the coffee filter.
