Ya, I wouldn't go hydro cause you won't have enough light for fast growth anyways. Plus hydro is harder for beginners, and more expensive to set up initially.

If your heart is set on hydro do one or two bubbler buckets. That is a 5gal pail w/ a net pot set in the lid and an aquarium pump and airstone in the bottom. With some decent flouros you can probably get an 1 - 1.5 ounces dry from one plant. With a 250W HPS expect 2.5 - 3 ounces dry.
Perp Reviewed by Perp on . Very Small Indoor System? I'm a complete beginner at this, but I'd like to start growing at home, and I only need less than an oz a month. I'd be more than happy with half that, if the quality is halfway decent. My first choice of plant would be indica. Is there a good, small, hydroponic system, or anything else, that's good for this purpose? I don't have much room, and I don't want to run a lot of electricity for lights, either, because the building is badly wired. Any advice is very much appreciated. Rating: 5
