Do you pay rent at all? If you don't pay rent maybe start doing so. If you don't pay, it is their rules, and that room, and bed you have, is theirs until you pay your own way.

I can't stand kids who live in their parents home and make up their own rules. Maybe you move then you can do whatever you want, but until you pay a mortage, groceries, etc., then doing whatever you please is no an option.

Look up the respect, study it, practice it, and you might be surprised about how your parents treat you. You get what you put out.

im 17 and i give them almost all of my check, i get about 60$ from my check every 2 weeks. the other 200 some dollars goes to my parents to pay for me pretty much. i normally go outside and try not to keep very illegal stuff in the house. i was tired from work and i just wanted to get high and fall asleep and she was being a buzzkill. then when she said im addicted and shes sending me to rehab i snapped and pissed her off like she pissed me off.

Okay, the fact that you are paying them changes it alot. Yeah, I can see it kinda, you were just pissed off. I was under the impression that your parents still payed for everything. In that case, I still think your behaviour was uncalled for, but it makes a helluva lot more sense. So you pay like $800 for rent, utilities, food, clothes(maybe?), assorted luxuries (internet obviously, cable maybe, cellphone maybe). When do you get out of school, the middle of 07?

Your mom clearly doesn't think weed is bad, just that you smoke too much. If I were you, i'd be like, "Mom, I know you don't like me smoking pot, and I know you think I'm addicted. But I'm not, and I'm going to prove it to you. Here's some money for drug tests, I am going to go cold turkey. Heres my stash, I will go a month without smoking ANYTHING. Try to tell someone who smokes ciggarrettes to do that, it's not possible."

Bringing anything illegal in her house makes HER responsible for it. It puts everything SHE'S done at risk.
