well thanks for the insults, i really appreciated them btw, if you'd bother to read what i said, i said the dogs themselves aren't dangerous it's about how you raise them, and IF/WHEN THEY DO ATTACK, it's far more devestating than just about any other breed of dog.. never once did i say pitbulls are dangerous and no other dog is, or only pitbulls will bite you and blah blah blah.. read a little more carefully before you start throwing insults around next time makes you look like an idiot.

I had a pure bred female pit bull who would die for me. And I time I went to Des Moines to do some stuff, and when I came back we found dead animals on the floor, house torn up, and a broken window. Come to find out Zelda(my pit) kill all my other dogs and my cats before breaking out of the house, we had to put her down.

how do you figure they have more personality and character? face it they're dangerous dogs...
btw let me elaborate on this sentence, since i see atleast 1 person already wants to pick at the wordings i choose... what i meant by this statement is the simple fact that when they do attack it usually comes out to be very horrible, they are dangerous in the fact of the way their built, muscle, jaws, and they tend to lock-jaw on whatever they're attacking...

If you don't beat the dog around, it'll be so loving and loyal. It'll guard you at night and love you all day. I grew up with a pitbull from when i was 3 until i was about 16, but thats when i talked to my father. From that house, that dog, Manson, is the thing i miss the most. Before i left, he was getting quite old and would always look at me like he knew i was going to leave. :'(

When i was growing up he'd sleep in the same bed with me, under the covers on his side, and with his head on a pillow. I swear he was more like a brother.

I agree, he is an idiot for that. That's something that annoys me, people dont read, but they bother to insult because they havnt understood something, which is proof of the immaurity they have.

Pits are very aggresive when it comes to aggresive situations. They have a bad temper and they lose it when there is aggrivation around them. It's a good thing to have for protection, but you get a young child who knows no better, tugging on their ears and poking their bumhole or something, and they will attack. They have short fuses, very short fuses.

That's really only if you piss them off, which is easy to do as they are unpredicatable animals.

I personally think Pits are butt ugly dogs. They aren't cute in the least. They always looks pissed off to me for some reason. Wouldn't be my first choice in dog if I ever got one, and I know people get them to look "badass" If those dogs were called something else, like Flower Dogs or something, people wouldn't get them.
