RO vs Distilled
Alright, so I got a TDS pen and a seven gallon jug and want to implement RO or distilled water.
Which one is better???
Right now Im using Canna nutes in a peatmoss/perlite mix. I think there are additives I need to be adding in to the soil. Micronutes? Can anyone give me advice on what I should be add extra to the nutes?dusto2k3 Reviewed by dusto2k3 on . RO vs Distilled
RO. It is good...and cheaper.
I have heard that those pH and TDS/ED/PPM meters don't work as well in distilled.
I don't know about the nutes.
Good luck! Be cool.

Ther isn't a hole alot of difference, but RO may be a step better and more people use, but remember you want to use Cal Mag in conjunction because you loos some key micro nutriants when using eather that the Cal Mage makes up for.

I'm sort of assuming RO means "run off." Maybe not, either way I'm high. :stoned:

Lol. I should have known something like that would happen. You know, run off... like water running off a mountain.

Distilled is much purer but RO cost less to make and is still pretty good....I work with allot of pharmaceutical grade water purification systems. The best gos through RO then is distilled.

I dont know where u are at, but here in CA, they have these machines in front of 7-11s and whatnot so you can get like a gallon for .25. Thats how I was gonna do it. I have this 7 gal container i got at walmart, so it will last 2 feedings. about 1 week

Yeah I know there about in public but I meant if you wanted to have your own machine. I know that you can get a filter put on the mains which includes some kind of reservoir and whatnot, so you literally have it on tape, which costs alot, or you can buy those things where you push the little lever and chilled water comes out.
