The song is about arlo and a friend illegally dumping some trash on thanksgiving because the nearby dump was closed. They were caught by the police and the whole song is sort of making fun of the redneck cops that went through all the trouble just to arrest some kids for dumping. Also I believe it has a lot to do with the draft but I'm not sure how that ties in.
