If you get 'em de-clawed, they make nice pets. They are sociable enough critters.

Those little guys are hilarious. Get yourself a hummingbird feeder. One will adopt it and your yard will become his territory. He'll protect your yard like a guard dog. Anything, including you, goes near the feeder it'll get buzzed. It's amazing how fiesty something that only weighs an ounce can be.

yeah they love that damned sugar water lol... i remember durring huricane rita, me and my wife went to these old people's house, it was fun just watching these two hummingbirds constantly chasing after each other, only taking a break to come hover at the feeder for a few seconds before the other one would come darting in at his ass...

yea.... its what my grandma uses... it dosent taste like kool aid... i found that out when i was a young kid, during the summer, i would go over to her house(like right next door) and she kept pop and juice in the back fridge... so i went pack there, and i saw the "red juice" ment for the humming birds, and i took the top off, and took a big old drink right from the jug, and spit it back into the jug, and went and told my grandma about it, and she laffed at me for drinking the humming bird food, but she smacked me for drinking out of the jug... and she also didnt let me have a pop that day :cursing:
