I'd say yes...Not only paint them, but that goo would be a pain in the ass to get off, that's IF you could get the mylar off cleanly in the first place! That is why I'd be hesitant to do that directly to the wall. The cardboard idea was nice. Or something similar. Or the more rigid reflectix.

Mylar Question Does it have to be completely flat against the wall? i have it taped up and i didnt try and flatten the mylar out, its really loose and moves when the fans blow on it... and now that i think about it, it would probably reflect more light if layed flat against the wall... any opinions on this?
