HOW SAFE IS THIS SITE?

Just want peoples opinion on how safe this site is for openly talking about what we get upto, if they can track a paedophile then why not the drug folk like us, i don't want to instill any doubts in any one but you never know? Or is this me on a para, but even so i'd rather be on one rather than lose what i have?

I've been around for a good while and I can say that this site is very safe and well maintained. I rarely see assholes around here. I think this has to honestly be one of the best forums I've ever been apart of...honestly.

If the feds want to create them a little account and roam the forums just to take tabs on them that's fine. I can't honestly tell you if they do that or not but as far as Cannabis.com giving the feds information I highly doubt that happens.

This site is hosted in the US. if the FBI/NSA/CIA/Homeleand Security decieded to get the logs from which they can trace you, and the pass that info onto UK police you may get a visit if you look like a commercial grower. This is not paranoid, this is what can happen.

The UK police may tolerate personal homegrown at the moment but things change, and besides even if the police are not interested no one should be invading your privacy so don't give em the chance to get ANY information on you, especially if you're breaking the law. Having a sig that says 'I am dellusional, all this is fiction' aint gonna save your arse.

The safest thing to do is visit via a proxy, also known as an anonymizer - do a google search. make sure the one you choose is not in the US or EU (or any English speaking country for that matter, Aus, NZ etc.), you can check for where a site is hosted and who owns it by using an online geographical 'traceroute' tool and a 'whois' tool, again google will help you.

Also, is there are any mods out there what happens to the logs please?

i dont mean to rain on your parade.. but do you honestly think that if the police had enough evedence that you are growing.. that they would take any notice of your disclaimer?? i think not.. so in reality i wouldhave to say no offence.. but your disclaimer dont stand for shit if police have enough evedence on you you may aswell erase that disclaimer pack your bags and enjoy ur new home
