What is the most simple and quickest effective method for eating/drinking Cannabis?

I got like 3.5 grams of high end buds here, and only want to use like 1 maybe 1.5 grams at the most in a simple, very effective recipe that will deliver the kick for thanksgiving party. I tried the tea, mixing the shredded buds and butter together in boiling water for 45 minutes, but twice it didnt do shit for me. So I am asking for a very very simple, quick, and effective method using the lowest amount of cannabis for consumption. Let me know guys!
