PS3 or Wii or 360
Yeah, so far I haven't heard great things about the ps3, I guess someone left it on about 20 hours and it just started on fire... O_o I still can't stand that controller, I've hated it since PS1 (which I had).
I've got a 360 and I love it, some great games coming out in the next few months. I'd love to get a Wii if I had some extra money, it just looks like it'd be so fun if you were high.phoenix Reviewed by phoenix on . PS3 or Wii or 360 which would you, or have you purchased? which do you think is the best and why? this does not really have anything to do with pot of course, well except for the fact that video games are awesome while high! I'm asking for the PS3 and maybe an xbox 360 as well. But certainly the PS3. I play video games all the time and me and my g/f have been together over a year. Gamers can find g/f's, it just may not be as easy.

And that is why I'm can't understand the people who waited in line and all that for their new cam console. I would not spend 600 bucks on it right at first. I figured something would be messed up like in the 360. Wait for them to fix the bugs and than get one.

After reading the specs, the Wii capabilities are (about) almost double that of the gamecube. While it may not stand up to 360 and PS3 in graphics (and maybe AI, I hope not), it's should still provide us with plenty. After all, gamecube released some VERY high-graphic games such as resident evil 4.
Personally I'm getting a Wii because I've come to like the new control scheme which will hopefully lead to the most important use of all...... holding your own lightsaber!!!! And oddly enough when I watched a video for Red Steel, the fluidity and naturalistic movement and physics of the enemies seemed more real than anything I've seen on the other consoles yet. But then again, that's Ubisoft for you
.
The only thing I'm concerned about is that it seems to have rather average RAM. Will it be able to handle extremely visually stimulating and varried environments without freezing up?
I've been impressed thus far by the landscapes of the new Zelda and physics in Red Steel, so thus far it seems to handle things pretty well. Time will tell. But for god's sake, they couldn't have made a 1GHz processor, they had to make it 755MGz? I mean that's still double what the gamecube had but 1GHz isn't exactly a technological feat these days. Maybe it was just to keep costs down and keep the system cheap. That $280 price tag sure beats the $500 for 360 and $600 for PS3 (Speaking in Canadian prices).
Anybody know how many pixels-per-second each system can handle? It's so damn hard to find comparable technical specifications since all the systems use different measurements. I mean you get 360 with "9.6GHz", fine easy enough. Then you get Wii or PS3 and the processor is listed as something like "endeon 738 dual-schtiggling anti-jibble morphible-enhanced blue ray acceleration".

yes that a good point and the 360's price still stands and now that i think about it, the first console to problly drop its price would be the wii

1st chance I get would be the wii. It's for us folks who still have normal TVs and want a new fun gaming experience. As far as I can tell, all the ps3 and xbox games will jus tbe the same games weve been playing since PS1 but with better graphics. Iu'll eventually get a PS3 and xbox 360, but the Wii will be my 1st purchase whenver that is.
