And so is my boyfriend and my boy Nate and our boy Adam drives up to our 1969 stoner van in his 2002 (Perfect condition) Grande Prix with superturbos...and we're like hey man take us for a ride. So, we have like 4 stoners all packed into this sports car, all of us blazed, and non of us wearing our seatbelts. We're racing through down town at like 100-110 and I look forward and we're coming to a T in the road and so Im thinking "OK WE NEED TO BE STOPPING...We should Rating: 5

just gotta say summit here after reading the first post and no more,smashing a car (was it 4 people inside) at around 90-95 mph through a concrete wall then a tree and coming to rest within inches of a lake without a seatbelt is a hard 1 to believe you could survive as atleast i reckon 1 person would have been thrown from the car and ended up in a hospital bed or a box,but hey ive survived a good few smashes (not myself driving) and i reckon you gotta be 1 bunch of lucky fruit cakes lol-BE SAFE

Lol I would, at least the 2 door model...my b/f has the same car only a 2000, its called a Grand Prix GTP and they're a supercharged 3.8L V-6. That thing gets up and moves and with the wide track it'll hook corners like u wouldn't believe...I've had his up to 135 mph on the freeway, don't tell him that tho...he'd beat me silly

lol funny. If you think the GTP is a performance machine then you really need to test drive a real sports car or a race modified car.

Pontiac hasn't made a decent car since the 70's. Good thing he cracked it up. Would have not made it past 80,000 miles anyway. For some reason pontiacs just falls to shit when they approach 100,000.
Sad to say but the US can't make good smaller cars. We can make a mean SUV though.

My Toyota Supra has 218,000= miles and counting, and it hasn't given me too much trouble... Lets see a pontiac do that.

i have to add another coment on this thread..................were talking about some1 who has a sports car(experienced or not)and there brakes lock up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as far as i can remember back the majority of family cars never mind sports cars have A.B.S. brakes................yes that means anti-lock brakes so if the brakes lock up you must either be going side ways or driving on ice,a little lesson for the boy who has the sporty car( or had!)to go find a spare piece of land and find out your own handling limits before you put the foot down on a road where you put other peoples lives at risk,damn especially with friends in the car

I know nothing about cars, all I know is that whenever I see a Grand Prix it's usually red and there's usually a 45 year old woman driving it with KMart sunglasses on. It just doesn't seem that badass.

Actually, I have. No joke. In high school, a friend's father had a '92 Grand Am that had over 300k miles on it, and it still ran very well. Of course, they were mostly highway miles, because every year they'd drive between Virginia and Colorado for Christmas, but I was still pretty impressed with how well it ran.
