Mods please!!!!!

i know im going to get flamed for this very harshly
(and probably blow my rep. with some of the mods with this)

but im starting to see a very bad problem with one of our newest mods (birdgirl73)

she (in my opinion) has always been a pretty nice person (pre-mod) and was informitive (from her posts to other members)

i personally have not had too many convos with her on the basis that before she was a mod me and bong30 had major issues and she took his side (on everything) and that just steered me away from having any interaction with her

and just a few days ago me and her had words and she closed 2 of my threads and (as far as i know deleted 1)

ive checked her posts/threads and have seen posts before they were deleted and find that since she has became a mod, she has changed and has been on a "thread closing spree" and as said some pretty rude things to myself and other members (incl. GS) and i have just come to find it

i mean P4B is known for banning people but he is always nice (for the most part) about doing it, he doesnt act in a "unprofesional" manner (or should i say he isnt a asshole about it)

and to your delight birdgirl, i did take a recess from logging on (like you wanted)

and i browsed the threads and seen what was going on and decided to make my first post/thread about you (which has been overdue)

i seen what happened to GS's thread concerning a incident about you and saw how rude you and bobbong were to him

so i expect nothing less (and when it happens, i will be concidering another site)
i just want to see something done with what (in my opinion) is power abusing

It's true, RonJohn. I did close one of GS's threads, as I promised him I would if he responded further, which he did, having a clear understanding that I would do as I promised. What you don't know is that the other two threads were closed by another mod entirely. If you've found any other threads other than the ones we'd all standardly delete in accordance with the rules, then you need to show your proof here. That one of yours I deleted was removed because it contained non-cannabis drug talk, as I told you. Had BobBong or one of the other mods seen it first, they'd have taken it down before I did. That wasn't me being a power problem. It was me enforcing the rules like any other mod would.

I'm sorry you have a problem with me, but you'll have to believe me when I say that I truly have not held anything against you based on any conversation with Bong30 or any other topic, other than what I told you several days ago in another thread about believing you don't having any restraint. I continue to stand by that opinion.

You might be interested to know that Bong and I don't agree politically at all. In fact, we've had some very heated arguments in our day, a phase we overcame before becoming friends. I respect the heck out of his right to differ from me, you, and everyone else on the boards if he wants. Just as I respect your right to do the same, including your differences with me. I respect GS/Mostafa's rights to post, too. If that were not the case, I'd have deleted that thread of his instead of simply closing it, and the other mod would have deleted the other two closed ones. If you believe that a single thread having to do with your differences with Bong colored my opinion of you, you clearly have no conception of just how many threads I read--and forget--each time I visit this site. Or else you're still looking through child-centric it's-all-about-me eyes.

This is a time of unease at this site. Things are changing and growing. There've been mod changes. There's a controversial new logo. There's a reputation feature. Change makes a lot of people unhappy. It's clearly making you that way. I hope you can overcome your unhappiness to stay with us and join back in the dialogue here, but if you can't, please rest assured that I wouldn't have been entrusted with this responsibility if the owners didn't think I could handle it reasonably. If you do choose to leave the site, I certainly wish you all the best.

LOL.........first time in believe in my life that I haven't been considered an asshole. Hell, if you were a lady I'd propose!!

Fact is Birdgirl is doing a hell of a job in here. I'm looking at this objectively and your taking the course of some that are now looking in. Ya see, when there is a new mod from politics....whatever really.....there is always one or two for some odd reason that take it on themselves to give the big challenge and it always turns out one of two ways: Either the member accepts the person or the member ends up on the outside looking in. (Option B)

The choice is yours........but remember.....this type of thread in my opinion is nothing more than a personal attack which is completely against the forums guidelines. PROTECTING A MOD??? Hell no! If this thread was about a member it would be the same. I'm not going to dish ya an infraction but just this post as a verbal and a piece of advice.

and im not unhappy with change, i think the new logo rocks (reminds me of that cypress hill skull n bones cover)

i just call things as i see it thats all

and with bobs response, i know that youre well protected by the other mods and i will get no where with my posts here

so i will just suck it up and move on....

and we are cool untill the next run in (which i hope not to happen.. never)
