MH Conversion Question
I don't accually have a ballast as of yet. I'm trying to decide if I should get a kit or one that's already wired and ready to go.

At first I thought that it was a conversion ballast that will run either HPS or MH, but it turns out that it simply comes with an MH conversion bulb as well as a regular HPS bulb. What I'm wondering is if that means that any MH conversion bulb can be run by any HPS ballast so long as they're rated at the same wattage, or is that too simple and cheap a solution to spreinging for either two ballasts or one of those really expensive one that Rating: 5

MH Conversion Question
My 2 favorite girls on the same thread!!! Hey TG!! how are you babe?
I am running the Solarmax bulbs. Being the noob that I am, I bought complete PL light systems from tha get. The whole deal hood and ballast and all. I wouldn't want to break into my ballast and void my warranty. BUT! After the warranty expires this little switch trick will be implemented for sure.
Of course being the tweaker I am I will have to have it sturdy and looking good so please enlighten us with any neat tricks y'all have come up with to install a switch that looks good and won't snap off too easily.
PS. TG where's my favorite avatar??

One point for the enhanced bulbs is that you get dual spectrum and more output from the same wattage and fixture. Maximizing your yeild. Something to consider....

you know how stoners operate...
1. get an idea
2. act upon your idea
3. re-consider what you already did
4. go eat something
5. wish you weren\'t so stoned so you could talk to the girl behind the counter at starbucks
6. smoke more weed
7. start at #1 again
