*Some Bare Minerals makeup
*Some little stuff for my animals

That's about all I can think of. We don't really do a whole lot of present-buying any more, at least for ourselves and my younger sister and parents/in-laws. We still get a few things for our son, but mostly we all pretty much get what we want or need during the year as we think of it. In the last five years, we've made it our practice to add up what we might normally have spent back in the retail-heavy holiday years, then double that amount and give a decent gift to a worthy charity. This year it'll be the volunteer organization of the hospice service that cared for my sister during her recent illness and a gift to ovarian cancer research through the American Cancer Society. Christmas has been a whole lot more fun since we moved away from the retail-frenzied materialistic angle.
