High Damighty....

Well my friend you're on your way to the first steps of freedom. Deciding what you want.

Now comes the hard part. Following through with your decision.
I can tell you that I have.. well, been there. I was raised in the "truth" and it was all I knew for a good portion of my early years.

If there is one thing that they teach you.. it is to not live a double life.

And they're right. It eats you up inside to put on a "happy face" for the meetings and then be yourself when nobody you think will care is looking.

Don't do it.
Be honest with yourself first. Then be honest with everyone around you. If they don't accept it then you have to deal with that as well.

Never continue doing something simply because someone else wants you to. Even your parents.

If anything, simply be honest to yourself. '

For as long as I can remember. I want so much some night to wait until she says "quinn, time to get ready for the meeting"; walk over to her with a lit blunt in my hand; and say "sorry mother, I have other plans."
