My suggestion: Go to a senior administrator at the place where your mother forces you to worship . Try and be respectful of their beliefs, but make them understand that YOU DO NOT SHARE THEM, AND NOTHING ANYONE ELSE DOES CAN CHANGE THAT.

I don't even believe in religion, but she drags me to 3 meetings every week. For as long as I can remember. I want so much some night to wait until she says "quinn, time to get ready for the meeting"; walk over to her with a lit blunt in my hand; and say "sorry mother, I have other plans." Urrrr... I don't suggest that to be honest. Elder's will only play the "holier than thou" card and make one final attempt to "sway" his mind.

Just don't go to the kingdom hall. Be honest with yourself and your mother. She will accept you either way. If she doesn't, that is quite seriously, her problem.

I know people that were Jehovah's witness for many many years, about two years ago the woman finally snapped out of it and saw it for what it really is. They had a nasty break away from the cult. She has told me so much twisted stuff about them. She had to go to abuse councling after geting away from them. The come off all nice and kind but once they get ya in, they try to control everything in your life.

But if I even think about telling her I don't believe in this bullshit, she'll practically slam the bullshit on me even harder. She will bring me to meetings all the time, cram bible verses into my head, and have me talk to the "brothers" at the hall and try to "set me straight", when they're the ones who need to be set straight. Not to mention take me in service, bringing the total witness gatherings to a whopping 4 EVERY WEEK. Goddamn I wish this bullshit could be over and my mom could get some sense knocked into her tiny little head.
