HI.

I am a former pot grower. I had to stop growing because a nasty divorce and a even nastier ex wife.

When I can figure the right place here to post the story I will. I think it is an important lesson for all growers to here.

I used to post on another site but things got weird there.

I will be happy to share my growing knowledge to anyone interested. I used an unusual growing medium.

I am totally straight for now. Which sucks but I had to stop growing and smoking when the ex wife went Postal.

Perhaps I will meet others around my area to buy from soon as it will be several months before I can even consider growing again. I live in NW Arkansas.

Wow. Thanks for the welcome. Keep in mind I have not had the chance to read through all the growing posts here, so someone could have mentioned it.

If not in a few days I will right a article about it. I grew for several years in natural Kitty litter. It is the greatest medium in my mind.

Keep in mind you use the untreated natural kind with no perfumes or additives. I am talking new kitty litter fresh from the bag. Do not use the litter that comes out of your cats box (although that might have some nitrogen, but yuck).

Natural kitty litter is neutral. It usually has a ph of 5. All the nutrients and fertilizers need to be added for the growth of your plants.

It will take some experimenting on your part but almost any plant can grow out of Kitty litter.

There are several advantages to kitty litter. I had less bug problems. It is cheap (20 pound bag for less than $2.00 were I live). One of the greatest advantages is if you are going to be gone for several days you can add extra water and not worry about your plants drying up. The biggest problem might be over watering. It took me some tries to figure this out. But your plants will tell you if you are in tune with them.

As to the other boards... Overgrow got busted and disappeared. The other one which I will not mention because it is still going had the owner get busted and things have changed. There is still good info there but if you have followed it over the years it has changed. Maybe I am paranoid ( and I am not even stoned).

As to the ex wife and all your kind thoughts.. It is okay and I will write about it in a few days. I am okay and never got arrested but it was close. Although I have not been high for a few months, I have my freedom. I also have faith that in a few months I will be growing the kind again. Hopefully before then I will meet a local connection and it will all be cool.
