love and hate are the strongest emotions you can have tied to someone...and both can leave you VERY vulnerable. vulnerable enough to let your mind confuse you. don't let other emotions get too involved; love is a chemical reaction, no need to get all depressed about it. the more emotions you associate with bad love memories, the more negative love will seem to you.

if you feel lust over someone, it is in so many ways, different than love itself.
love is a single emotion, and if you focus solely on it, it is all that you will feel.
the more you concentrate on feeling love, the more love will be flowing in your whereabouts...learn to channel it all the time, and you'll be good.

if you really want someone, get it out to them. the worse than can happen is nothing anyway! and often enough, rejection is the first path to recovery. if you finally learn that the person you love so much doesn't love you back, why waste any more energy on them? if the chemistry doesnt exist, it has nothing to do with you. NOTHING is wrong with you, the flow wasn't there, that's all. sure it is very hard to get over someone, but at least you'll be able to move on, and breathe the fresh air again. out of all the billions of people in this world, don't tell me there was only one. i dont fall for that.

open yourself up to people and trust in love. there is nothing fake about love. with time and experience, you'll learn to notice who really loves, and whos horny as a doggy.

Sorry to hear things aren't working out with the person you had in mind; perhaps the relationship should be kept at a lower level of love, such as friendship.

On that note, I don't entirely agree with what you said about only one type of love. I do believe love is without a doubt an unconditional feeling...but unfortunately there are factors that can change the way we think, and feel. Anyhow, I believe there are different levels of intensity I guess we could say, hah, about love. For example you can love a good friend in a friendly way, and nothing more, yet you can love someone in an undescribable way. Sometimes if we have strong feelings towards someone that doesn't feel the same...it can be best to lower the intesity to their level, and keep it that way, ya know? ...then slowly moving on, and with that mindstate it will be less difficult to get a hold of emotions! hehe

Anyway, I can imagine you must have been talking about your girl friend that you mentioned somewhere else in this post. Again, I'm very sorry things aren't the way you might have wanted them to, yet again, I'm sure to learned a lot from it, and ready to take on new grounds! You seem like a very strong minded young woman, I'm sure you'll be up in the clouds in no time.
