A lovely Thanksgiving doobie sounds like a wonderful idea to me, and if I had some within my reach, I might just take the risk and smoke it. I say that because I dread the fact that people are going to be bugging me to eat more food than I want all day long--and because we are having the holiday at my aunt's house this year. My aunt's a wonderful, hysterically funny person. But a gifted cook she isn't. So the munchies might make it easier to make a good show of eating a lot!

The same old bad November weather, and the entire family being fake in front of eachother annoyed me. The day began with Mother Dearest freaking the fuck out trying to get the house clean. Soon, around four, guests would arrive. I was expected to mingle and 'work the croud' with my sister. My sister would come back for a few days from college for the event.
