Dammit, I wanted to get high this thanksgiving, but I kinda can't cause of lame ass drug testing.

We aren't doing much, just me, my mom and dad and a thanksgiving dinner. At least I think. We don't wanna go to my grandma's this year, she never has it, and everyone kinda...hates her, so like, we don't wanna bother.

I've got bud saved for the big TDAY! I'm going to be cooking all these weird dishes for my family (Very small family though.. me, my mom, gramma, and mom's boyfriend) and for the past..4 years or so I've been stoned for it

A lovely Thanksgiving doobie sounds like a wonderful idea to me, and if I had some within my reach, I might just take the risk and smoke it. I say that because I dread the fact that people are going to be bugging me to eat more food than I want all day long--and because we are having the holiday at my aunt's house this year. My aunt's a wonderful, hysterically funny person. But a gifted cook she isn't. So the munchies might make it easier to make a good show of eating a lot!

We are doing Thanksgiving at our house this year. Again. I'll be making the works. Turkey, cornbread and sausage stuffing, sweet potatoes with brown sugar, cinnamon and toasted marshmellows, corn casserole, greenbeen casserole, homemeade cranberries and rolls and bread and of course, pies for dessert. I'm still working on appetizers, I want good stuff.

So, our house on Thanksgiving is Open House. People come and go all day and I get to change in to my jammies when I get that too fat feeling.

My house is the most laid back so I prefer to cook and stay here.:stoned:

Hahah god that sounds like a dream come TRUE.

If it weren't for my grandparents, it totally could be true.

...Not that they are uptight...they just might be frightened hahaha.
My grandpa wants Medical Marijuana, my Grandma thinks its a good idea.
My dad told me to get medical.

Why does my family rock? Well...none of us are conservative in the least! <3

That sounds amazing, Tootsie!! Do you cook it all yourself? I'm impressed. On the years past when I'd hosted it at my house, which has been the norm for the last few years, I've done the turkey (which I generally do myself) and ham, which I outsource to the HoneyBaked folks. Then I do cornbread dressing, gravy and cranberries of various kinds. And, if I have the bandwidth, a couple of pies. Then everyone else brings the rest. I cannot imagine making a meal of that volume you're talking about. You must be very, very good in the kitchen. I wish I lived in your part of the country! I'd definitley stop by just to be amazed at your productivity!
