I don't buy the whole "it's illegal because of money" argument.

It's actually in the best interest of established corporations that weed be legal, because they are the ones in position to corner the market as soon as it opens.

The simple fact is that the day weed becomes legal, corporations will immediately go into the hemp production business and multiply their fortunes. They will also go into the medical and recreational MJ businesses and dominate those too.

Weed is illegal because of a very long and very successful propaganda campaign which has convinced the majority of voters that it's a bad drug.
