Just... splice a plug, and twist the wires together.
Match the colors...
If not... match the black cables. The other ones will be the "live" ones.
If that doesn't help... check out wikiPedia or something along those lines... you'll find diagrams and help there.
Go for it man!
Wow... a Turbo 4000 fan...Nice!

Hey 50ul
Is that fan AC or DC current? The black wire is the power lead and the white
is the common on DC or AC electric.I looked at that fan on the web site and it dosent say if it is a DC or AC fan.

The site says it draws 3.5 amps. My guess would be that it is low voltage DC (maybe 12 or 24 volts) because this would be around 400 watts at 120VAC and most fans use alot less power than that.

well i would assume its AC lol, These things arent supposed to be run on a DC current... where would u find DC avaialable where this would be used..? My best guess would be if u ordered it in us then its 120v. Dont take my word i really dont know but from my understanding a good way to look at it. DC is from a battery and AC is household.

dont wire that shit into a wall, lol your gonna blow a fuse or something. that 12v dc is the same current your cigarett lighter is in your car. This fan is used for a boat.... which gets power from a battery. Your house current is 120v so thats way to much for that fan sooo i mean i dont even kno what you could do with it, u need some sort of converter for it. maybe a computer power supply i think they convert to 12v DC.

no way those fans barely push any air at all. i have one and it is useless for anything except for boosting the intakes. when it's running you can put you hand in front of it about 12inches away and not even feel much air at all. they have there place but exhausting a grow is not one. go to radio shack and tell them you need a dc to ac converter and they will hook you up but when all is said and done you will end up spending as much as if you just ordered a small ecoplus squirrell cage fan in the first place and they are 100times more powerful. if you just hook that boat fan up to a wall outlet it won't trip your breaker, it will just fry the fan!
