I used the same fan before and if you put anything to restrict the intake (like an air cooled hood or carbon filter) the other side with the screen pulls air from the room. Getting an inline fan solved the problem.

Ok, well i can see they did this for cooling purposes, but there is an opening on the both sides of this thing for air intake.... or is the one side not sucking? cause i had a carbon filter on the end sucking and it still smelled, took it off put it on the side pushing and it worked. ok so if u have no idea what im talking about, on both sides of the squirl cage there are openings, one for air in, and one for the motor. and then the opening in the ussual spot fot the air out..? im jsut Rating: 5
