i was going to start a thread like this lip, as you mentioned in my previous post, but i couldnt figure out how to word it!! i am also a jew....i had no idea there were so many of us....i have never toked with a jew besides my sister....wow...

Why were Jews chosen as the world's scapegoat? Like..I don't get it, but everyone pretty much hates jews.

I really don't think people HATE Jews...its just that they can be an easy punch-line for jokes a lot of the time.

I don't hate Jews, but I will often joke about them, claiming I am Jewish because I pick up quarters.

No, I'm not a Jew. Come from a long line of Protestant Christians. (And I myself am basically agnostic.)

I happen to have a special affection for Jews, however. So many have contributed so much to modern society in the areas of medicine, science and art. And they've done that despite the fact they've faced tremendous hardships and prejudice along the way. I find that tremendously impressive.

I feel the same way on all these points, I am agnostic as well.

I did my humanities oral report on Jews. The strong sense of identity, the intellectual and artistic/comedic contributions they've made, the absurd reasons people have for anti-semitism. I heard one rabbi say that the jews were meant to be dispersed so that they might bless and prosper society around them. That's what ive personally noticed about Jews. this thread kicks ass

Wow, thanks guys. I didnt know if this would be a sucess, but hey, it aint too bad lol.

The only other Jew's i've toked with is my cuz Geoff... and he has the sterotypical big nose... and i mean BIG.. lol...

He's about 13 years older than me... and when i was a kid i used to grab his nose lol.

But yeah like i said before, i didnt realise they're was this many of us here.

It's like.. well i dunno, but im alot happier... i feel even more at home here now.

My father's jewish, and i've been told ur mother has to be jewish for it to be passed down, but either way, i was brought up catholic..

I believe we've got three times as many Jews here than at my high school. Hurray!

Yeah I joke about it too Friv..but like in middle school, I didn't know how to handle it as much and it sort of got me down.
