Well, just keep doing what your doing and in about 4 or 5 days you should see the roots, let us know when they show.
And yes, you don't want to feed your plants anything with high amounts of N before cutting. Some PH'd water with a bit of Super Thrive at least 24 hours before cutting will do you.

Did it by the book, everything was sterilized, I even considered boiling my hands for a moment but decided that may be overkill. Used roothormone, cut away unneccessary leaves and dipped those nodes in roothormone, chopped the ends of the remaining leaves, recut the end in water in dark bowl, rockwool, etc etc etc. After 4 days they're still green and have hardly wilted. I thought the leaves were supposed to begin to pale as the plant began to 'eat' Rating: 5
