Thank you Justaseed. Well I will try to fire mine up as soon as I find some room to put it somewhere. I take smaller cuttings as well for the fact that I do bonsai style mothers.

Did it by the book, everything was sterilized, I even considered boiling my hands for a moment but decided that may be overkill. Used roothormone, cut away unneccessary leaves and dipped those nodes in roothormone, chopped the ends of the remaining leaves, recut the end in water in dark bowl, rockwool, etc etc etc. After 4 days they're still green and have hardly wilted. I thought the leaves were supposed to begin to pale as the plant began to 'eat' Rating: 5

i always do bonsai mothers as well. my veg space was only 2ft x 4ft so space was at a premium.

Just done two this morning, 45 degree angle two nodes down, no rooting gel just straight into quarter strenght nuted water and 4 inch under my flourescant, near a radiator and no covers. Want to see if this works!

Well, its 6 days now and they still haven't wilted at all and still bright green???

Damn, they're about 10-12 days now and still not seeing anything exciting.
The leaves are finally going pale at last, which I hope indicates using up the nitrogen in them, but not much more happening. Some tiny green shoots that aren't changing perceptibly.

Should I add a tiny drop of phosphorous to them for root development?
