WTF is up with the new Can.com logo?!

Nobody mentioned the favicon,,,they are very small,,,16x16 pixels,,, and should be made with as little detail as possible so people can make out what it is... I know it is probably a skull because of the new logo,,,but I can't make it out...

To be truthful when i saw the new logo it did bother me a bit. but in the greater scheme of things I think there are things that are more hurtful to the pro marijuana and legalization movement than a logo, so not gonna bitch about it, or delve deeper into my statement even.

Wow... off the boards for a few days and return to... a SKULL? Please! Here I am trying to portray cannabis as a valuable medicinal herb with great benefits to society, and you guys [Sundance] decide to go with the whole skull thing... isn't the skull a symbol of POISON?... and here I was sitting on the fence for a while anyway thinking how I was about ready to leave myself because of all the violent references in some of the threads, and the only thing really keeing me here are the responsible cultivators in the grow area, seriously WHAT THE FUCK. TOTALLY NOT THE IMAGE THAT WE AS A COMMUNITY REALLY NEED TO BE PUTTING UP FOR OURSELVES. AND NOT SOMETHING I WANT TO BE A PART OF. I know one of the mods mentioned that Image REaper and myself were both being considered to be moderators... and I don't even think I'd want to be one anymore if this is the way it's going to go here. Now, I'm going to go ahead and double-post this rant in the grow lounge because if I leave, that's where my crowd hangs out, and OH FUCK THIS.

Idiots like karmaxul/gandor/harmony haven't been IP banned yet and still get to spew their spam and discord, and contributing users get our posts deleted.

That's fine, Sundance can do whatever they want, but I somehow still feel like I've put too much hard work not to get to speak my piece.

I am left to think that this being a popular site,,, the tide has ultimately shifted,,, and we old timers will fade like our Forefathers... let's hope we still have a say!!!

IP Banning doesn't happen because IP's like hostnames can be changed, blocked and recycled.
Ban one IP you possibly ban 3 or 4 people at the same time.

It doesn't matter how much "work" you've put in here... whether you've been here 2 years or 2 months. It's called supporting a community despite the changes... but not everyone does that.

Bob it's that damn first impression thing again,it hits us hard... the culture is changing in my opinion and it is hard to swallow,,,just like my father hated my music,,,sorta...

I'm 28. Still young but mature enough to know when it's time to throw in the towel and let the kids do their thing. I guess it's back to my local flesh-and-blood growing community. I really have enjoyed participating in the forums but the fact that some things have really rubbed me the wrong way- like the skull, the avatar of some girl getting shot in the head, lots of jokes about beating up your girlfriend to show her who's boss, lilttle punks trying to grow in their parents' house and putting the family in danger, scavengers bragging about the crop they stole, kids talking about how they have to carry a gun to pick up their weed, and all that crap that I find dishonorable... forget it. I don't WANT to be bad-ass. I want to be able to grow openly within the confines of revised legislation. Does it seem that Sundance is making more money with cannabis being illegal than they would if it were decriminalized?
