WTF is up with the new Can.com logo?!
If I were to see this avatar I'd personally erase it. Next, the rest of what you speak of here would be a bannable offense if it was noticed.......just so much we can cover but we try.

I did it before on harmony, just did it on gandor, and will be checking out the I.P. on a daily till you decide to get a clue. If you really feel like wasting your time........I'll keep on banning and deleting.
Have a good one!

If you can see it from this perspective, StinkyAttic, the reasons you listed above are precisely why you should stay. The way I see it, they're why those of us who don't exhibit the punk factor should be eager to stick it out here. Because we're the faction that offsets that other one. That shows the world cannabis supporters/users truly are smart and peaceful adults who have good sense. And because we need as many of us as we can get, including you.

I appreciate the support and sincerely hope that Sundance will come around to a website design that is as inoffensive and CLASSY as the leaf background was. It's tough to look like a peaceful person posting beneath a logo with connotations of violence.

It's not like the skull is inappropriate; it's more like what is the significance of it? I don't really care either way - but I don't really like the skull either....but it's not THAT bad!

Think of it from the point of view of a medical user with a terminal illness...then it seems VERY inappropriate.

Like I said in a similar thread in the lounge... It looks like a doodle in a 16yr olds notebook. It makes the site look like a joke...

When I saw the new logo I thought it was juvenile but I'm new here and consider myself like a guest at someone else's house...not my place to criticize the decor. But I can understand how people who have put in a lot of time and energy into these forums can personalize it and become resistant to change.
Some people think I don't like change. I like changes fine if they go my way. An error at the bank in my favor, I'm cool with...it's when they don't go my way that I dislike change.
I feel badly that a few members whose opinions & insights I value greatly either have left or may leave. They have both been helpful to me and I wish them well...I know they will continue to help others along the way.
It's not change that hurts, its the resistance to change that causes problems....we've all heard that and it's true.
