white powder on my buds ?!?!?!?

what would cause a white powder to form on the small leaves on the bud???. Its not sticky, its like a dusty coating on the leaf. But only on the small leaf where the crystals are formimg??
Is this a type of muld ??

Yes, and you need to watch it because it can ruen a hole crop. If It gets moldy or starts to stink you will need to imediatly cut the bud off and with clean hands examine the others because the spores can quickly spred in some cases.

its probably not mold... just powdery mildew, you can blow most of it off cant you? if so there is no way of getting rid of it without spraying the plantwith chemicals, and that in itself will cause problems.. but like ecky says, we need pics to help you... good luck

you could burn sulfur. depending on where you are in the cycle, it cn be a great weapon against powder mold. i live on the coast and deal w/ it on a weekly basis. there is also a product called serenade. its organic and you can spray up till harvest(i never would use it after a couple weeks into flower). it kills it as well. keep it as dry as possible and stay on it-it can spread quick!!!!

ive got an attic grow space and i get moths up there sometimes
when light comes on they fly around the plants bumping into branches and leafs, leaving behind a shiny powdery dust
if it is this, just a simple fly trap works ok
them really sticky paper traps in the little tube

I wouldn't blow it off, it will quickly spread around your grow room. Go to home depot and buy a bottle of garden sulphur. Use a q-tip to apply the sulphur to the affected leaf. Gently paint the leaf with the liquid, careful not to get the buds. Doing this will keep the mildew under control till you harvest and properly dry the crop. Don't spray the buds.
