Well, if you're not actually going to be living there, I'd still invest in some light timers, and have a few CFLs in light fixtures around the house come on and off here and there, automatically, to make it LOOK like someone is there.

Beyond that, if you just run the lights and fans and AC unit, your electrical useage won't look too insane. If you ran both 600 watt lights, and the 1k light, and the 400 watt light, all of them 24 hours a day, that'd be about 1900 kilowatt hours per month. But most of those lights you'll probably run 12 hours a day, so that brings it down to maybe 1000 kilowatt hours, which isn't unusually high. Just make sure you pay your bills on time and I don't think you have anything to worry about. You may have to keep the three bigger lights on separate breakers, depending on how the electricity is set up in the house, but that won't affect your bill.
jamstigator Reviewed by jamstigator on . Need some advice guys on lights I have just purchased a 5 bedroom house. This is my second grow on my own. My other grow was with my best friend a while back.So I have some experience. I have 2x600 watthps and 1000watthps. I also have a 400 watt laying around that I would like to use as veg.room light. I won't be running anything else in the house because I have an apartment to live in. My question is what is the best possibile setup I can run with these lights and room(average bedroom size) space. Thanks a lot for Rating: 5
