    soil ?...

    Hey guys/gals,

I shut down a couple of years ago. But even then I never really messed with organics all to much.
Now that I'm back, and smokin my fair share again, I just can't seem to bring myself to pay for it anymore. I mean....just alittle while ago I was the person you'd buy it from...if you were lucky

    Anycase....
I'm leaning on the Organic side of growing now. after years of growing using pumps, chemicals, constant ph tester's, ect....I've grown tired of this.
I started to scale down on all this crap, on some of my last few harvests, by going in soiless, and using FF nutes. I could just stick with this and be just as content, but I have afew goodies laying around and I'd like to put them to use.
So maybe some of you Organic growers can help out alittle over here.
    This is what I have:.......
    *peat
    *perlite
    *greensand
    *kelp meal
    *blood meal
    *bone meal
    *garden lime
    Alaska fish fert...5-1-1
    superthrive
So can any of you tell me at amounts would be needed for veg, and bloom?
In the past just experimenting alittle, I've been able to grow fine looking lady's in veg. just using good ol fish fert. this stuff does a great job at that.
However I have yet to bring a plant to harvest with Organics.
So any help here would be great.
    Thx

    soil ?...

Do a search on google for organic soil recipes. Here's one I found:

    Organic potting mix
1 part sphagnum peat or coir
1 part peat humus (short fiber)
    1 part compost
    1 part sharp sand (builder's)

to every 80 qts. of this add:

    1 cup greensand
    1 cup colloidal phosphate
1 1/2 to 2 cups crabmeal, or bloodmeal
    1/2 cup lime

    soil ?...

My basic all-around soil recipe is about 40% perlite and 60% composted cow manure with humus from the local farmer's supply.
The pH is just right as is, and then you can add other amendments depending what you're going to use it for, like guano for bloom or fish for grow, etc.
Oh yeah, and don't forget how lovely worm castings and kelp extract are to make it even better.
