sorry mate im a complete noob with all this, is the area ive circled on this pic the area you mean? its jsut theres like white fluff and the wierd like green balls so i want to be sure i take off all the right stuff

Nope, not that part. Those are the trichomes, the THC goodness. I circles the areas in black (picture below). You can just see something that looks like a spider web. That, is the start of mold, remove it. There isn't much of it, but the stuff spreads like wildfire and can ravish your whole crop in about 24hrs.

You see it now? It's barely visable, but I can just see it.
