ello m8 very nice first grow.. :thumbsup: ... i would say get a 30x micro scope from the famous radioshack.. or any good electrical store.. then you can look at the trichomes to determine when to harvest.. basicly the trichomes start clear then go cloudy then amber.. harvesting with mostly coludy trichomes will give you a heady energy rush kind of high .. harvesting with say 80%cloudy and 20% amber will give you a very nice body heavy stone.. but you dont want to harvest with to much amber as this means the thc is degrading .. but if you like your stone heavy dont be affraid to let like 40% go amber..so the more amber the more chock lock body stone the more cloudy for a more heady stone.. allso the trichomes are at there peak when they are amber.. n u dont want any clear trichomes when you harvest unless you want a very light short lasting buzz.. allso just so you know in case you dont.. the trichomes are the sugar crystal looking things on the buds... happy growing happy harvest and good luck with it all :thumbsup:
