why does this system do this to people like me

Yeah man sorry to hear about the shit your in

Im in a situation kinda the same to yours(my parents hating me and dont have anymore trust for me and shit) not weed related but for speeding.

i got caught speeding..83 in a 45.. and my mom has been on my ass for about a week now saying it was wrong, and everyone that knows about it(one of my friends with a big mouth was with me telling me to slow down)
keeps reminding me that it was a stupid act and im fucked.

it just pisses you off when people tell you shit that you already fucking know and you dont want to hear it again anymore.
but anyway back to the point...there is alot of good advice in this thread very usable that im gonna take and i hope you get through all this shit Ok

    Peace:rasta:

I crashed my parents car in High School, totalled. Coming home sucked but I had a great guy for a step dad. I was wrong for fucking up but I learned. Never put you or your friends in a position that your not already willing to accept the consequences for. Life happens. Now I am responsible for my own children, just try to listen and be patient youll get through it.

Oh and here is the hard part, be humble.

I'm real sorry things turned out this way, NightProwler. Next time, I'm sure you'll do things differently, and I know you well enough to know you learned some valuable lessons from this experience.

One tip about your mom, and this was one I learned when dealing with my own mom, actually, who had a bit of a theatrical streak when we made mistakes. If you can pre-empt her coming to you, that is, go meet her at the door when she comes in and start talking before she even gets a chance to light into you, you may be ahead of the game. Don't hide and wait for the axe to fall. Face it head-on. Just say, "Mom, you probably already know about this and I know I'll face some consequences, but here's what happened." Then just give her the low-down. The thing is if you deal with it up front like an adult, she'll be more likely to respond to you that way, too. You can also pre-empt her tendency to punish when she's in a temper and say, "I know you're really angry about this and I request that you not take any action until you calm down and have had a chance to think about this for a bit." That'll help her remember to step back and take a few breaths--and ideally take a night to sleep on it--before she metes out any punishment.

I was always in a lot better shape if my dad found about the dumb stuff I did before my mom because he was much calmer and more level-headed. She tended to ground me and withdraw every privilege she could think of when she was angry and then have to back-track later when my dad helped her realize she'd overdone it.

Let us know how it turns out, OK?

I respect the fact that you're not complaining about the consequences you're going to face. It really says something about your character. Good luck

The first rule of living in someone elses house is "Live by their RULES, get your own gaff if you want to start setting rules", it's that simple.
All the kids on here sayin you don't need to take that shit don't seem to realise that respect is earned , your parents earn respect for feeding you and looking after your stupid arse (going to school with a weapon is stupid , getting caught was just plain careless) and clothing you and giving you a home. The first time you fucked up they could've kicked you out.
You fuck up and act like a bitch you'll get treat like one , respect for others will earn you respect .

    Don't forget that !

    damn that sucks.

my friend got busted with 2 grams on him, and he got a 3 day suspension. and he had to flush the weed in the toilet with the principal watching. while he was doing this, the principal said that young people make mistakes, but you learn from mistakes and that was it.
