OK...clones retain the age of the mother...clones can be flowered as soon as 2 weeks of veg...veg doesn't start until 4-5 alternating nodes.
vegging only starts after rooting...so that would be approximately 4 weeks minimum rooting-vegging for clones. you can veg as long as you like, but those suckers could get hybrid crazy...If you veg too long.

>>>from seed...You must wait until you have 4-5 alternating nodes on seedlings, then veg. So vegging does not apply until after seedlings.

Once seedlings are 4-5 nodes you veg. Once in veg, they are no longer seedlings. Hope this helps

oh yeah...no nutes for seedlings or unrooted clones.
clones you can nute full strength as soon as you start veg
seedlings, use 1/2 nutes 1 week of veg and then start full strength.
Goodluck. peace

IN 4x4 space I can only fit 2 seed-plants to finish, (I grow 7' trees, currently just 2 s-p's are taking up 5x6 space...) I can comfortably grow 4-8 clones in the same space...depending on length of veg and size of clones at this stage.
latewood Reviewed by latewood on . 2000w to 3000w Should I expand or thin out crop? Alright canna family, I am contemplating on adding another light fixture and hydro tray to my grow room. I admit this is my first grow and I am a noob but have been researching since I began shopping. The friend that sold me the equipment and mentors my grow says to wait until my second grow before expanding to 3000 watts. I can see the final setup in my head and it seems like more of the same stuff. Other than adjusting a few parameters after the additions it seems like an easy conversion. Rating: 5
