if you cant respect that, then you are guilty of "not handling some elses opinion" as you say in the above quote
i do respect your opinion.... and do not cause a profanity issue, but im just saying that there is a thing called "freedom of speech" which shouldnt be infringed upon

There is no freedom of speech that applies here; this isn't a publicly-funded website. This is the virtual equivalent of someone else's home. It's nice that the owners allow us to come into their virtual home and discuss things of common interest. That doesn't mean they must give up all their rights, one of which is the right to make the rules they deem suitable. You wouldn't like it if people told you what rules you had to follow in your own home (or on websites that you operate). That's one of the perks of private ownership: YOU get to make the rules regarding those things you own. If you don't want profanity in your home, you can make that rule, and if your kids don't follow the rules, they can move out. They don't get to cry 'censorship', and they don't get to vote on whether your rules are fair or not. Same thing here.

Im just saying I think what we can say on ths board is already too heavily monitored, but I do agree with attempting to halt some of the young gangbangers coming on and throwin language around for no reason.
My two cents.

I respect the word, just not the government that claims to be based of freedom.

I completely agree with the freedom of speech arguement! But then likewise, having to moderate a website........we also maintain the freedom to shine up the tips of our boots from time to time when someone abuses their freedom to offend others intentionally.
Have a good one!
