For Bear: The room temp stays between 68-78 and the temps in the buckets are generally in the high 60's--very low 70's. This holds true however for the vegging stage as well. Nutes at present: Cal Mag to 450ppms, then hydroplex to 700ppms, Pro Bloom too 900, then LK and Sweet to 1100-1150 in RO water (water 70 degrees to start). I change the res once a week, but don't use any flushes or cleansers in between. PH in main res= 5.9 The roots look very nice and white throughout the grow EXCEPT in the dead space between the bottom of the top pot and the water...I'd say dark tan but this has been true during the entire grow also (of course now there are many more roots than then...). Normally I will adjust the ph to about 5.9-6.0 daily and by the next day it will be up to approx 6.4....too high to let it go another day. During my last grow in the middle of summer it seemed that the ppms would rise after a few days...plants drinking more water?...and in this grow the ppms are dropping about 100-200 ppms daily--I am adding small amounts of ferts to the individual buckets every day which is a new one on me. Oh I also add 10ml H202 (3%) every other day all the way through my grows. I know this is controversial but I have had good results from it. Sorry about the long saga but I just love to talk about me and mine....
Weedhound Reviewed by Weedhound on . Did LST--should I greatly increase nutes? Blue Bear mentioned something on another post about ph fluctuations in flowering due to large nutrient needs. I LST'd these about a week ago and took the nutes up from 900 to 1100 (using Cal Mag, Pro Blooml, LK and Sweet)but this is the first time I have LST'd and did not realize how much they would grow this fast. What ppms are people using for plants approx this size--bagseed---4 weeks in and what kind (if any) ph problems are people having? Thanks!!:blueknife: Rating: 5
