Did LST--should I greatly increase nutes?
The molasses is 1 TSP per gallon. With the 3 part GH, look in the FAQ and look up nutrient something or other and you should find a GH 3 part formula called the Lucas formula. A fellow over on Over Grow I believe it was, came up with a GH 3 part formula and it is named the Lucas formula and I think literally thousands of people use it to grow MJ in hydro. It is the amounts and all of that you need to use with the 3 part.
If you don't find it in the FAQ I will try to get it somewhere.
Also GH along with Advanced nutes are the only two major US based companies that have openly done consistent research on MJ with there products and that is why they generally seem to be the top choices for many. GH no longer openly does MJ research with their products on MJ and I think that between providing research for places like NASA that they make a little more money with that avenue and do not want to jeopardize there relations by getting into a MJ controversy.
AdieuBlueBear Reviewed by BlueBear on . Did LST--should I greatly increase nutes? Blue Bear mentioned something on another post about ph fluctuations in flowering due to large nutrient needs. I LST'd these about a week ago and took the nutes up from 900 to 1100 (using Cal Mag, Pro Blooml, LK and Sweet)but this is the first time I have LST'd and did not realize how much they would grow this fast. What ppms are people using for plants approx this size--bagseed---4 weeks in and what kind (if any) ph problems are people having? Thanks!!:blueknife: Rating: 5

I skipped a few replies, but here is my take.
I have and preached use of pure blend pro...If you want to grow organically, but I also preach the use of GH 3-part as the best and easiest nutrient on the market. It gives you maximum control because you vary the strengths of each part to create optimum uptake of nutrients at each stage of the grow process.
And; chem nutes grow bigger, much bigger plants.

So latewood you would change the nutes themselves not the ppms?

PureBlend Pro is amazing in my personal opinion. For some one who can get confused in different stages of growth its a much easier way to go. I find that my plants grow much bigger then i expect every time, but im sure a more broken down feeding schedual like the gh 3 part would be more benificial if used correctly.

I tried the pure blend and didnt like it b/c all of the crap in my hoses and my pump. I switched over to GH and I dig that a lot better. GH nutes are water soluble so you dont have crap floating around all over the place. GH seems to have a better pH buffer in their nutes also - but you still have to adjust the pH every couple of days or so. Its not organic, but what truly is organic these days?
