So, we've all heard the saying that you don't get high the first time you smoke weed right? Where did this come from?

The first time I smoked, I was blazed out of my mind, so I don't understand where this came from? Is it because first timers aren't inhaling the right way? Because as long as you inhale and hold to let the THC get in your system, shouldn't you by all rights get baked?

Can anybody make any sense of this or is it bullshit? Also share if you got high or not your first time. Peace :rasta:

some people dont inhale right, they jsut get the smoke in there mouth like when you smoke a cigar(dont give me shit, i know some inhale cigars) and if they actually do inhale, some might not realize there high. I heard of some cases like that.

ya for sure, some definitely dont inhale right, and then others dont know if they are high... my cousin blazed with me the for the first time the other night and he was high as hell... i would ask him if he was high and he was all im not really sure.. or i dont know.. it was funny

I got high on my first try, but i smoked ciggs before so i knew how to inhale and take it in.

some people's cannabinoid receptors aren't active yet, so they just wont' get high, it takes a few times for some people's to kick in, i got blazed as hell the first time i smoked, but i've known plenty of people who have smoked cigarettes, know how to smoke properly, that don't get high their first time... so it's not a matter of the user not knowing how to use it....

I was deffinatly flying my first time. Uncontrolable laughter over every little thing. It was great. Got a couple buds high their first time and they were deffinatly high.

it's different for everyone. I first smoked at age 12 and had already smoked cigarettes and knew how to inhale. I wasn't blazed till my third time, and I had to rip the bong about 20 times, plus walk around for 30 seconds before it kicked in, but when it did, I realized i had found my calling.

haha i remeber the first time i smoke i was 12 and i picked some leaves off an immature plant my stepdad was growing in the window lol. i rolled a shitty little first timer joint and of course i didnt get high. the next day i really smoked with some friends properly and got more blazed than i ever have been since then. i think the first time is the best.

I got high my first time. Not the best high I've ever had though. This one night I blazed a dime to myself and got baked. I thought the shit was laced so I went to sleep. It was weird but great.

I really think it's funny how new guys don't inhale smoke. How the hell do they think it effects them by staying in their mouth? xD.
