Settle this for me...

I didn't get high the first time I smoked weed. I had never even smoked a cigarette before, so I had no idea how to inhale properly.. as stupid as it sounds. Once somebody explained to me it's like sucking through a straw, I got high. Best advice I ever recieved, no matter how lame it is.

The first time I smoked, I was blazed out of my mind, so I don't understand where this came from? Is it because first timers aren't inhaling the right way? Because as long as you inhale and hold to let the THC get in your system, shouldn't you by all rights get baked? Can anybody make any sense of this or is it bullshit? took me about 4 or 5 tries and im sure i was inhaling right. think i jsut didnt know what to expect so the effects jsut didnt really come.

but oh god, when i got high the first time..

well... I think its true that some people don't get high their first time. I have a friend from israel and he smokes ciggarrettes and hookah all the time. He knows how to inhale... we smoked with him 4 times and he never got high until one night he starting bursting out laughing for nothing. I think there has got to be some science behind it because we smoked the same shit out of the same way every single time.

zeph, im right there with ya, i didnt and still dont smoke ciggs, so i had no idea how to inhale,until my friend told me, then i was the highest i have ever been in my life.....what a great feeling

I definitely inhaled my first time. I don't see how I couldn't have. Its just like breathing in...I mean how else do you get the smoke to come, especially when you are smoking from a bowl.

I didn't feel anything though, the next time I definitely got high, inhaled the same way.

Theres definitely some science behind it.
