Safe, cheap method of lowering pH...
You can also use Cider Vinegar to lower ph, and baking soda to raise the ph.
But PH-Up and PH-Down are generally easier to use with better accuracy, and theyre not much more expensive really.
Considering that it doesn't take much of it, so 1 bottle of each will last quite a while.
You can get them at most pet stores for aquariums.

Well the soil for my girls has become too alkaline...weeks ago it was too acidic, so I flushed them and now it looks as if I went too far? Anyway, should I just put them back on their liquid diet of nutes (Fox Farm Big Bloom) and allow it to gradually go south, or is there a quick household ingredient I can throw at this to knock a point or so off my pH meter? I've heard people mention vinegar and lemon juice in the past, but I think I'd prefer to hear it straight from the multitude of Rating: 5
