It is true the place I bought mine from did the same but he threw it into a cement wall. Its just really thick glass. Don't drop it often it will break if you drop it a lot. Once doesn't hurt it but more will weaken the glass.

The owner of the shop I bought it from threw it across the room before I bought it to prove it to me. It doesn't crack or anything if you drop it on a hard floor but I would like to know how far the strength of the glass goes. Has anyone ever broken an "unbreakable" glass piece?
