Can you tell if someone smokes weed

i can't really tell if someone smokes unless i hear people rumors that they do it and when you find out certain people smoke...it does just blow your mind to think of them hitting the bong and thinking "No way!"

this girl i've been a friend i've hung out with throughout highschool every now and then, just told me today that i look like a pothead. And she's one of those people that if possible, you don't want knowing because you would assume that they would thind down on you..or some shit

No, it's hard to tell who smokes marijuana and who doesn't but it's easy to spot a cigarette smoker out.

no, no one who looks at me would think i smoke, i look all nonthreatening and straightedge. so you cant. trust me unless i was high while you were looking at me there is no way to tell. otherwise i have red eyes and a smile on my face. to this day when people see me smoke who havent before say i didnt know you smoke and are all blown away. they say that when i drink too.

anyhow with some people i can tell they smoke but there is no way of determining if an average lookinig person smokes or not, otherwise wed all have the balls to ask any random person for a hookup.

Not always. I've met people that don't even "look" stoned when they're high. I've also met people that "look" stoned and they don't smoke at all.

Sometimes, but sometimes I have been fooled by people I thought didn't toke, but did, and vise-versa too. I hate the tricky ones who you think toke, then when you ask them to join you for a joint, they're like, "That shit makes you stoopid, heh heh"

If someone is stoned, I can usually tell. Red eyes, dry pasty mouth, and a grin on their face, but I can't usually tell if a person smokes weed, just when they're high.

I can tell sometimes, but only sometimes. But on the other hand where I live (Nelson, BC) the town is flooded with hippies! and I can ussually pin point the right hippie, that can get me great weed! lol well most of the time, its been more difficult lately. I just wish i could get a steady source again I miss 2 of my dealers, one doesn't deal during the winter months (he's strictly outdoor organic, and is right now off picking mushrooms, or perhaps hibernating in his hippie ways lol) the other dealer right now is not dealing for awhile, too many busts lately...ok so sorry I got off topic lol

Probably not just by looking, but after hanging out and talking with someone when the conversation doesn't even have anything to do with smoking I can tell most of the time... occasionally i'm wrong but a lot of the time i'm right. I call it a stoner's intuition. I can tell when peoples parents are stoners too and have revealed to many of my best friends that their dads or moms or both are smokers and then they come to find out a few weeks later after paying attention to them that they do toke. The other night my dad told me when we were talking about smoking that one of his friends curtis who was a family friend and his wife was my moms best friend was a huge smoker, after years of telling my older brother and stoner friends who meet him that i know he smokes.. he has to. In that case i was 100% correct.

um... yeah.... very easy to tell a chronic/regular pot smoker (when you talk to them).. as easy as it is to spot someone who eats twinkies daily...

Not by the way they LOOK.. but by their brain function.. chronic daily smokers are often trapped in there head.. super reliant on the "mind".. over thinking, second guessing etc...

There are certain key signs to look for in the eye-muscle movement of weed smokers, which is how police officers and paramedics can often hazard an educated guess. And opthalmologists can usually tell, as can neurologists. At least they can tell enough to ask more questions and test for the presence of cannabis in lab samples, if they feel the need.
