Yes, that will happen, but 3.5g's is a unit of measurement, so an 1/8 will always be 3.5g's. When you think you're buying an 1/8, and it's only 2.7g's, it's not an 1/8, obviously. Those aren;t slang words they give them, it's a metric unit of measurement.
