Not measuring in grams?

I was in school today I was talking to my friends and I was like I used to be able to get like $10 or $15 a gram for some good dro. They were like you measure in grams? They were like the only thing we measure in grams here is like ice and that kinda shit... I used to live in TX for 15 years and I noticed everyone measures in grams, were they just weird as shit or what, I now live in VA.

lol i live in texas now, no one weighs anything around here, nor does anyone sell in grams... if you're not happy with what the person offers you for however much money you're wanting to spend, you just don't buy it, simple as that... i mean we still buy in 1/8's and 1/4's and what not, but it's done by eye.. i don't complain because there's pretty much always a little more than if they weighed it...

So what do they weigh it as? They use Imperial measurements instead of Metric or something?

Maybe they mean they don't sell single grams. All the dealers I've ever had, except one, didn't sell anything less than an 1/8. The guy I know now doesn't sell anything under a 1/4. There are plenty of sellers out there who don't sell single grams.

I'm sure that's what he meant, because how else would you weigh it as?

Did they just mean that they buy so much that they measure in ounces or something? They may have been just trying to sound like they were hard.

I know all that i wasnt buying or anything theyre like we just say dubbs and dimes and shit they dont weigh it i used to have a dealer who weighed it in front of me now thats stright...

I've noticed that too.

Some of the less-experienced dealers around me (NJ) will sell by what they THINK is a good ammount. Like, $20 will get you X of a bag.

The dealers with the better stuff I go to, measure and sell it appropriately.
