Serious Problem w/ Snocap grow

I don't know how many people saw my other thread, but I'm doing a 16 plant set-up under a 1000W HPS/MH combination light. My 12 Sno-Cap plants are 3 1/2 weeks into vegging, while the smaller clones (a super silver haze, grape ape, goo, and romulan) are about 10 days into vegging. The problem I am having right now is with the sno-cap, 8 of them appear to only be growing 1 leaf or sets of 3 leaves, not 5, they're still growing well but all the growths look like this. It really can't be good. There ar still 4 sno-cap though that look perfectly fine, 5 leaves everywhere with lots of good tops/potential colas. All the clones look great as well. What is going on with my plants???

The first pic is the Romulan clone, the second is the S.S.H. clone, the third is the goo clone, the fourth is the grape ape clone, and the last picture is of my sickest plant, take a look at all those leaves.

Information about everything else:

Water every 3-5 days, pH the water to low 6's, I use tap water though, this has been a suspicion of mine, but I remember reading that is wasn't TOO big of an issue to use tap water, so I decided to try it out.

Nutes are as follows:

Fox Farms Grow Big - currenty getting 6 cc/gal, going to be up to 15 by the time they're big enough
Thrive Alive B-1 - 2 cc/gal, every other watering
Liquid Karma - 12-15cc/gal

I was looking at that pic of the droopiest plant... notice how the petioles are REALLY pink? And the leaves look kind of uneven or vaguely splotchy... that's a nute problem. The leaf stems being pink could be sulfur def, and the veins would be phosphorous def, or you could just have a lockout situation from unbalanced pH in your dirt.
You know the deal... flush and feed!

BTW your other plants look sweet. Very nice!

did you cut the ends of the leaves off on some of your plants? it looks like it. if so...why?

what I'm a little confused about is that there is virtually no difference (besides human error) between the regimen that the healthy sno-cap and the unhealthy sno-cap get, watered at the same time, same nutrients, etc.

Like I said, we pH all of our water to the low 6's, but we don't pH the soil. The soil mix was 2/3 high-grade Osh soil-mix, 1/3 perlite, and a pinch of dolimitic lime/gallon.

Could the fact that I'm using tap water be causing this??

The healthy plants have purple stems as well, I just assumed it was genetic, but if is the result of a sulfur deficiency or phospho deficiency, how can I determine and correct this?

did you cut the ends of the leaves off on some of your plants? it looks like it. if so...why?

If you're talking about the clones, I purchased them like that, I believe they do that though to promote the plant concentrating it's energy on growing roots instead of the fan leaf and also to prevent it from weighing down the fragile stem.

I wanted to add one more thing - is root disease a possibility? The medical club I purchased the clones from has had some problems with diseases in their clones in the past and it's really the only reason I can think of why 8 turned out unhealthy and 4 are great under the exact same regimen.

I'd pH to 6.5-6.8.
The blotchy leaves are a possible symptom of the soil having 'hot spots', I used to see that when I still used peat and didn't always mix as well as I should have. You can end up with soil that has zones of a totally different pH from the rest and it creates som e WEIRD looking symptoms.

You can flush your soil really well with pH adjusted water.

As for genetics and purple, I've seen purple veins on healthy plants too... it's just a possibility, I'm not at all familiar with snocap, but it looks purty!

You can always water with Serenade. It's bacillus and kills rootrot, and is organic!
But the medical club should NOT be selling diseased clones. I'd be pissed!

From the pictures, It looks like they took the cuttings of Sno-cap when the mother had induced into 12/12 cycle.
No worries! Those sno-cap will be back to normal within a few weeks and will grow bushier under 18/6 or 24/0 light cycle.
